A Week of Celebration
Last week was a week of celebration for me as we are concluding a semester here in our ministry—both in Ladies Bible Study and in West Coast Baptist College.
On Wednesday, our Ladies Bible Study hosted a luncheon for the ladies who participated in our verse memory program over the past several weeks. All ladies who memorized Isaiah 40:28–31 and Psalm 100 (and Psalm 91 from last semester) were invited to this fun time of fellowship.
I’m thankful for Carla Hobbs and for the great job she does every week encouraging us to hide God’s Word in our hearts. Each Wednesday morning, she had a new approach or tip that equipped and challenged us.
On Friday, I enjoyed a special time with the ladies in “The Pastor’s Wife” class at WCBC. The girls came to our home for a made-to-order breakfast and brief time of relaxation in the midst of finals week. I’m thankful to have gotten to know these girls this semester and am looking forward to seeing how the Lord will use them in ministry!
The week ahead is set to be another exciting and eventful week with college graduation and the surrounding activities. It is a privilege to serve the Lord in ministry, and I’m thankful for the opportunity. Have a great week!
I remember the Pastor’s wife class! I learned a lot and I appreciate you opening your home and the breakfast. Hope the young ladies felt special!
