Recipe: Chocolate Lava Cake
February is such a fun time to express your love to others…especially your husband and kids (and of course, grandkids)! Here is one of our favorite family recipes that we save for special occasions. It’s perfect for Valentines Day, because it has all the major components to make it special. Well, the one major component: chocolate.

Chocolate Lava Cake
1 cup butter
8 ounces semi sweet chocolate
5 large eggs
1/2 cup sugar
4 teaspoons flour
pinch of salt
Melt butter and chocolate in a double boiler; remove from heat. Beat eggs, sugar and salt with a hand mixer in a medium bowl until sugar dissolves. Beat egg mixture into chocolate until smooth. Beat in flour until combined. Divide mixture into a muffin pan and bake at 450 for 8-10 minutes.
